he could always talk, he just wouldn't talk around jon for some reason, but now that he's high he forgot about his reason
my favorite part was when StrawberryClock said, "B" and B'd all over the place, truly one of the portal submissions of all time
also happy Clock Day 2024!!
pretty fun, the puzzles were a delight to solve, although the button one was my least favorite not just because i lost many lives there but just because i feel like it relies too much on button-clicking ability and not puzzle-solving skills. being able to finish all this in 64 seconds is a cool achievement :)
pretty groovy, the almost glitch-hop feel of this tempo and rhythm is unique, almost feels like a 2012 Savant song
intense, exhilarating! nice to see you do hardcore! i really like the dark minor tonality and general feeling of dread combined with energy
personally in a lot of hardcore and gabber tunes i tend to hear a kick fill at the end of every other measure, something like this:
X---X---X---X---|X---X---X---X-X-
this however lacks that, it's just a constant kick pulse the entire time, which sounds alright but i kind of miss that bounciness from having the fills
however, the mixing is good! some more background fxs in the quiet sections to create atmosphere would be nice, as well as ear candies in the louder parts. also of course the mixing could be a lot louder; as stated in the ngap #production-help you should focus on the midrange and tastefully reduce dynamic range using saturation. boosting transients using compression will also help keep the punch.
Yeah, I may have forgotten to change the kick pattern LMAO
Thank you for the review!
cool! nice and hard instrumental hip-hop with a unique touch in the form of... a theremin!
the instrumentation sounds pretty good, the melodies are captivating and motivating, and the arrangement is solid, although i'm not sure why the song ends so suddenly, i wanted to hear more!
i think maybe the tambourine in the background is a bit loud, maybe turn its fader down by 1.5 db? conversely the trumpet seems rather quiet, i'd bring its fader up by the same amount. i think maybe some more variation in the main drum pattern could be nice - maybe an extra kick or snare here or there before the fills every fourth measure
that's all really...
ayy i live near there!
otherwise, cute artwork :)
i see Songs About My Cats, i like
