very solid melodies! the chord progression hits that perfect sweet spot between melancholy and euphoria. maybe the sidechain time could be lessened a little, and i do hear some clipping during the transitions, but other than that the production is very good for being done in three days

Thank you very much! I really tried my best on the melodic aspect of this track. The fact you're bringing up the sidechain and clipping issues doesn't surprise me because I was already aware (8-9dB true peak was a massive oof honestly).

really cool and seasonally appropriate tune! this is more trance than techno imo, with the trance gates and all, but nonetheless this is awesome! the melodies are appropriately euphoric, reminds me of late 2000s trance here on newgrounds

it certainly sounds like going insane, in a good way! i like the portamento'd orchestral hit(?) that forms the basis of the melody. the production could be better as you said, but musically this is quite solid

the way you used sound effects as opposed to traditional basses in the "drops" is kind of awesome! some of the individual sounds are not to my taste but i appreciate the concept! the chord progression is also really cool. i just feel like there could be more elements and effects to fill up the mix, like saturation and ear candies

fantastic aliasing, the math-y modulation on that reese bass is really cool, the slides on it almost remind me of Savant in parts

the switch-up at 3:20 sounds really cool as well

tysm! i dont know what Savant is but ill take it as a compliment. as for the switch up, i basically stalled for a bit and, whilst holding a key down, changed the tempo with the other hand. all in the name of freestyling 8)

liquid juicy bass, cool glassy glitches in the background, nice guitar/strings, overall a very solid tune, just wish it could be longer-

very cute, i like the breakbeats combined with the orchestration. i agree with @Dynamic0 about the bassoon, it and the melody it plays really add character to the theme here. also the strings at around 1:50 sound really nice, i wonder what that could represent in the life of the caterpillar? possibly the lead-up to metamorphosis?

synthwave isn't really my thing but i appreciate the pretty melodies and production! the phasered chords at around 0:53 sound really cool
